DescriptionThis public survey map details the rivers, mountains, and territories of New Mexico, southern Utah, "Indian Territory", northern Mexico, and northern Texas. Boundaries of Mexico and three different states mark clean dimensions of this map but more prominent are the Rio Grande, Rio Puerco, and all of their tributaries. Nine lines are marked along the Rio Grande with a stamp outlining the land as White Mountain Mezcalero and Sacramento Apaches. The manufacturer information for the surveyor general are on the lower right and there is a hard thin black border around the outside of the map.
