DescriptionThis map of New Mexico contains each county highlighted in a different color with land grant square boundaries and all major roads and railroads running through the state. Indigenous land is referenced but not marked out on the map and National Forests and Parks are also marked. The neighboring state of Arizona is similarly filled out in detail, but Colorado, Texas, and a corner of Oklahoma marked as Indian Territory and Utah are noted along with the counties of these states that border New Mexico. Mexico is also outlined below the southern border. The lower part below this map acts as an index showing each location in alphabetical order.
