DescriptionThis colorful map showing the territories of New Mexico, Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, and Utah also has the northern part of Mexico and the more northern Nebraska, Idaho, and Oregon territories outside of a red border. Mountain ranges are drawn onto the map. There is a border of interweaving thorny vines that wraps around the irregular polygon shape of the territories within the red border. Within each territory, different counties are highlighted in green, red, or beige color of the map. Indigenous communities are marked by the term Indian Reservations and the counties of New Mexico such as Rio Arriba are horizontally extended across Arizona. On View
