DescriptionThis map of North America includes different territories of Mexico, New Mexico, Louisiana, the Carolinas, and islands of Canada and Cuba all in different colors connected by who was in charge of the territories. Florida, Cuba, Mexico, and Central America are all closely correlating shades of blue, New Mexico and Virginia are colored pink with the major towns in the territory noted, Canada and the land in and north of Louisiana is green, and the outline of northern South America is highlighted pink. California is also left with highlight except for a light blue highlight around the coast and the area north of New Mexico is left blank and unknown. The cartouche with a floral heraldic crest is in the top left and the map has longitudinal and latitudinal lines within the map and numerical numbered including the Arctic Circle, Tropic of Cancer, and the Equator. The text is all in French.
