DescriptionThis Italian map of the Philippines (also known as 'Isole Filippine') and surrounding islands in southeast Asia was created to depict a detailed view of all the islands, the major cities, and mountainous areas. The islands of Philippines, Brunei, Celebes, Moluccas, Java and Timor are depicted. In the top left is a legend for the distances depicted on the map. In the top right is a scene of two individuals, one sitting in a blue skirt and a pink hat and one standing with a pink skirt and a gold hat holding large stick, in front of a steep hill with a palm tree and next to two peacocks, a coastal scene and a curved plant acting as a border for the map title at the top. The border of the map is yellow and contains coordinates marked lightly. On View
