DescriptionThis map contains an overhead view of the geography of England. Despite the detailed depiction of England and Wales, the northwest of France, Ireland, and Scotland are scantily depicted, and the focus of the map centers around various geographic features like rivers, forests, mountains, and the towns nearby. The sea around the islands contains images of ships of varying sizes and between Ireland and Wales are red and blue fishes in the sea. The cartouche in the upper left contains the map's title, a heraldic device of two figures surrounded by a natural scene of vines, fruits, and herons around a royal crest for medieval England. The scale of the map is included in the upper right with a blue and red column design below with a face in the center and the text of this map is in Latin.
