DescriptionThis set of landscape maps depicts the islands of Crete and Corfu in the Mediterranean from an aerial view. The top map of Crete contains a view of nearby trees and towers on neighboring hills, city walls, stone buildings inside the walls, and activity in the sea such as fishing ships and a ship with oars and a sail coming into a busy harbor. The map of Corfu below this is from a higher angle looking at the coastal fort on the left side and a more rural town on the right with fields and houses with red roofs. Names of the businesses and churches in the town are marked and ships surround the island in the sea. The text is in Latin.
