DescriptionThis map contains an overhead view of invasions experienced in England and Ireland. The northwest of France, England and Wales, Ireland, and a scantily detailed Scotland are depicted, and the focus of the map centers around various military conflicts that happened in these lands. The sea around the islands contains images of ships of varying sizes and text below to describe the conflict. Routes and rivers are featured on the map along with a detailed description of fourteen conflicts in the lower left. Between Ireland and Wales in the sea is a red and blue compass star with the fleur-de-lis symbol above and geometric lines go diagonally away from this circle across the map. The cartouche in the upper right contains the map's title, a heraldic device of a lion and unicorn around a royal crest, and two cherubs with wings on either side of the title. There is a thin yellow border around the map and the text is in English with the long f used in place of some examples of the letter 's'.
