DescriptionA group of children are watching the Selma to Montgomery marchers in Montgomery, Alabama in this black and white photography. There are five children in the photograph, they appear to be sitting on front of a convenience store. There are four young children on the bottom of the photograph who can be seen from the chest up. They are wearing casual clothing. Some are looking at the viewer and some are looking out of frame. There is an older girl behind these four who is taller and is wearing a button up shirt. She has her hands behind her head and is looking downwards. There is a strip of white wires that appear to be attached to the window of the convenience store behind them. In the window the distorted reflection of marchers walking in the street can be seen. There is also a door behind the children with writing on it, along with a sign above them. Most of the writing on the door cannot be seen except for the word "BREAD". The sign shows an advertisement for Camel cigarettes with a picture of a camel and the word "CAMEL" written above.
