DescriptionThis is a black and white photograph of young voting rights demonstrators outside of the Dallas County Courthouse in Selma, Alabama. The faces and upper-bodies of six young people are visible within the photo. They stand in two rows with three in the front and three in the back. Each one is wearing casual clothing including white shirts, jackets, and sweaters. Three are staring directly at the viewer while the others are looking out of frame. Their arms are crossed in front of them but their hands are linked so that they form a chain. Behind this group a window can be seen.
