DescriptionThis is a small hand-colored map of Scotland. It is bordered by a yellow-tinted scale frame and has a wide border beyond that. Across the top and outside the frame, it says, "Schottland." To the right of this it says, "Fig: VII." In the upper left corner of the map, in a red-bordered banner, it says, "ESCOSSE." In the upper part of the map, there are illustrations of a sea monster, a whale, and ships. Scotland is colored light blue. The upper part of England is colored light red and labeled "ANGLETERRE." The northeast part of Ireland is colored light yellow and labeled "IRL ANDE."
