DescriptionThis object is a tonsillotome blade, which is used in conjunction with a tonsillotome to isolate and remove infected tonsil tissue. This object is flat and rectangular in shape, with two large vertical perforations along its length. A small, circular hole is located at the base. The square-shaped blade located at the tip is broader than the body of the object. Mild amounts of corrosion are visible around the blade and the base of the object.On View
