DescriptionThis object is a detached tonsil snare blade. The object consists of a flattened, square-shaped blade with a long screw protruding from the bottom. "V.MUELLER&Co / CHICAGO" is stamped on the body of the blade, while "A216" is stamped at the base of the blade on the same side. There are two horizontal holes in the body of the blade. The screw-like handle has two flat, circular nuts that can be moved up and down the screw. A flat, circular base with serrations on the edges is present at the base of the object. Moderate levels of corrosion are visible within the screw grooves.
