DescriptionThis object is a bone gouge, used to remove portions of bone during a surgical operation. The top half of the object is comprised of a thin, cylindrical gouge with a circular blade at the top. The bottom half is comprised of a handle that is wider than the gouge blade, and has a large vertical indent in the middle on opposite sides. The base of the object widens slightly towards the bottom. Mild amounts of corrosion are visible inside the blade as well as within the indents on the handle.On View
