BiographyToni Roller was born in 1935 on Santa Clara Pueblo to a family of potters. She is the daughter of Margaret Tafoya and granddaughter of Sera Fina Tafoya. She is the sister of potters, Virginia Ebelacker, Jennie Trammell, Mela Youngblood, Mary Esther Archuleta, and Shirley Tafoya. Roller learned pottery from her mother and made her first pot when she was around six. She has made pottery for the market since around 1960.

Roller has taught pottery to her sons, Jeff, Cliff and Tim. She is known for deeply carved pottery and stone polished services. She has been in exhibitions across the United States.
