DescriptionMilitary soldiers stand in a horizontal line at the New Mexico Territorial Fairgrounds in Old Town, Albuquerque, New Mexico. The San Felipe de Neri Church and Sandia Mountains are in the background to the left. Seven men are dressed in full uniform with sabers and two men on the ends of the line wear slack suits, top hats, and hold swords as well.

The left side of the plate is broken in two places. Emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate causing distortion and emulsion loss.
