DescriptionThe New Mexico Territorial Fair Parade going past R.P. Fox Planing Mill located at 305 West Gold Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A line of horse-drawn decorated floats travels down the road. The street is dirt with adobe businesses and a wooden boardwalk lining it with pedestrians gathered throughout. There are electric wires above. The photograph is captured from a high vantage point and mesas can be seen in the distant horizon beyond the city limits.

The closest float to the viewer is for S.W. Brewing Co. It is decorated with a canopy and draping banners. On top of the canopy sits a man dressed like a king or prince. He wears a paper crown, a toga-like wrap, and sits on a keg with a beer class in his hand. The float below him is lined with kegs.
