DescriptionThis color photograph is of potter Rick Dilligham with a written inscription and signature by Dilligham underneath. Dilligham is posed standing with his arm resting on a tall ceramic pot that he created. The inscription reads:
Reality right now is not at all easy, real productive or happy. It is not an easy time. Reality is a cycle with highs & lows & we escape it frequently. However, often the escape it hits you over the head however -- its easier, so it seems, to not escape. The reality of life & death, so much death now & so unfair -- with AIDS affects all I do in my current reality. The cycle has to come back around -- soon -- reality can become an illusion of what I wish, not always clearly thought out -- but I can then try to keep both feet on the ground.
