DescriptionA color photograph of photographer Betty Hahn with a written inscription and signature by Hahn underneath. A large dog is rearing up playfully in front of Hahn and has its paws on her shoulders as she holds its arms and looks at the camera.

The inscription reads:

Reality is when I get this great idea of something to do with photography and as I walk into the studio the phone rings ... or the doorbell rings ... and someone wants something. Then the kitchen faucet starts leaking or one of the animals needs to go to the vet ... or the generator light in my car is now glowing red. That's Reality.
