DescriptionThis color photograph is of Cristina Davile Brodsky with a written inscription and signature by Brodsky underneath. Davile Brodsky is holding a vase with flowers and is smiling at the camera.

The inscription reads:

The picture of reality is composed of continually changing arrangements and elements. Keeping a perspective while evolving at the same time can be quite a balancing act. The spirit struggles to stay in harmony with the mind, there are such powerful contradictions dominating our lives. Truth & lie; dark & light; acceptance & rejection; involvement & detachment, devils & angels, comedy & tragedy, birth & death. We must embrace the whole picture, and discover who we are by our struggles. We may ease the pain by enjoying one another's [sic] creative efforts which I believe are expressions of love, celebrations of life. And we may nourish the spirit by appreciating the natural world.
