DescriptionThis steel object consists of handle and operating arm that are attached almost perpendicularly. The operating arm consists of one end facing the operator with a thumb screw, and the other having a large horizontal hole to insert tonsils. A fixed, flat blade is pushed over the hole by the thumbscrew to perform a tonsillectomy. "DANIELS" is stamped into one side of the thumb screw. "616" is stamped at the base of the operating arm above the handle. Object has very little visible corrosion apart from a heavily rusted section on the blade.
