DescriptionThis object is an elongated cannula with adjustable length often used during OB/GYN procedures. The object consists of a long, blunted operating arm connected to a slightly thicker cylindrical base by a thumb screw located towards the center of the object. Using the thumb screw allows the length of the object to be adjusted. The base of the object has an inverted bell-shaped cap with small metal wires protruding from the top. There is some mild corrosion visible around the thumbscrew and within the grooves of the screw on the base of the object.
