DescriptionThis deed warranty is attributed to Jose Lion Gutierres and Higinio Cordova in the then Territory of New Mexico, Sandoval County. The paper is cream colored with a few light stains on the front cover and an embossed stamp. The deed is written entirely in Spanish with the exception of the front cover, which is in English and states "Spanish Warranty Deed". On the front page there is also a line where the name "Bernalillo" has been crossed out and replaced with "Sandoval". There is a mix of black text that is handwritten and printed cursive. A large paragraph of handwritten notes is on the second page, with the rest of the handwriting being dates or signatures.
