DescriptionA three-strand necklace of fox turquoise, spiny oyster, and cotton wrap. Santo Domingo artist Ray Lovato is widely recognized for his natural turquoise necklaces and jaclas, which he began making at the age of eleven after learning from his parents, Ike and Tonita Lovato. Although best known for his corn necklaces, this elegant three-strand necklace features hand-carved and strung beads of uniform size and shape, along with a “signature bead” of spiny oyster. On View
