DescriptionAn adult stands on a dirt road at Sky City in Acoma Pueblo, New Mexico. The adobe pueblo has ladders leaning on the buildings from the ground to the second stories. The person is wrapped in a blanket and the baby is on their back.A typed caption on the back of the photograph reads, "A street scene at Acoma. This Indian Pueblo is located on top of a great rocky mesa rising 350 feet above the surrounding plain, and is now practically deserted. It is open to tourists and is one of the outstanding attractions in New Mexico."
