DescriptionCarrie Tingley and her multi-colored Pit Bull Terrier dog Smith (Smitty) sitting in a single horse-drawn buggy in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The buggy is in center frame and three-quarter profile facing the camera. Only the back half of the horse can be seen on the right side of the photograph. Carrie is sitting on the buggy seat, smiling at the camera. She is wearing a dark-colored long skirt and a light-colored long sleeved button-up shirt and a hat. Carrie's right arm rests on the back of the seat, and her hand hovers over Smith's right shoulder, who sits leaning against her right side. Smith is perched on his hind legs with his front paws relaxed in front of him. He is wearing a collar and is looking straight at the camera. Desert plants, dirt, and rocks cover the ground and a hill rises in the background. Handwriting on top of the photograph reads, "Smith chewed this".
