DescriptionA black and white photograph of Carrie Tingley, her dog Smith (Smitty), and a young boy in a horse-drawn buggy. Carrie, on the right, is wearing a white long-sleeved top and dark colored skirt in the shirtwaist style. Her hair is up and she is wearing a dark colored neckerchief. The young boy is to Carrie's left, and is wearing a light colored suit jacket and a light colored hat with a dark colored band. Smith, a brown and white colored pit bull terrier, is standing between the two. The dark colored horse is standing on sandy ground in a fenced in yard. Directly behind the buggy is a wooden shed. Around the border of the photograph is cursive handwriting explaining that the building of a cafe can be seen in the background. On View
