DescriptionCarrie Tingley and her multi-colored Pit Bull Terrier dog, Smith (Smitty), stand at a chain link fence gate and look toward the camera in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Carrie stands in center frame, resting her right arm on the open gate of a chain link fence which spans in either direction and out of frame. Carrie is wearing an ankle-length patterned dress and a large hat. Behind Carrie and to the right, Smith stands at profile inside the gated yard with his mouth open. A building with large paneled glass windows, covered with curtains from the inside, is in the background. In the foreground at right frame there is an obstruction, possibly the photographer's finger.
