DescriptionCarrie Tingley and her dog Smith, (Smitty) a multi-colored Pit Bull Terrier, ride in a horse-drawn buggy. The horse and buggy are stationary and seen in profile, the horse's head to the right of the frame. Under a parasol attached to the back of the buggy sits Carrie Tingley, looking directly at the camera. She is wearing a large hat, a light-colored long-sleeved blouse and a dark-colored skirt. In the buggy's footwell sits Smith, looking directly at the camera. The buggy is parked in front of San Felipe de Neri catholic church in Old Town, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Handwriting on the bottom of the frame of the photograph reads, "Front of Church at Old Town".On View
