Under a parasol attached to the back of the buggy sits Carrie Tingley, looking directly at the camera. She is wearing a large hat, a light-colored long-sleeved blouse and a dark-colored skirt. In the buggy's footwell sits Smith, looking directly at the camera. The buggy is parked in front of San Felipe de Neri catholic church in Old Town, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
