Carrie, on the right is wearing a full length belted brown fur coat with neck ruff, and a feathered hat. Helen Wooster is wearing a full length black full coat and a black hat with a feather. In front of the two women, Smith, a multi-colored Pit Bull Terrier sits at three-quarter profile looking towards the right frame. He is wearing a thick studded leather collar.
