DescriptionSmith, a multi-colored Pit Bull Terrier dog owned by Clyde and Carrie Tingley, stands on the back of Jennie the burro or donkey in New Mexico. The animals are in the center of frame of the photograph and in the background is a wooden cabin with a folding chair on the front porch. Jennie is standing and facing the camera, with her head bent low to drink out of a round metal water trough. Smith sits on a blanket draped over Jennie's back. He is wearing a collar, his mouth is open, and he is looking directly at the camera. Handwriting on the back of the photograph reads, "Smith & Jennie." On View
