DescriptionThis image depicts a closeup shot of one of the murals inside the Hilton Hotel dining room at Second Street and Copper Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This mural depicts Coronado and his men looking over what is supposed to be the Rio Grande Valley near what would become Albuquerque. The Spaniards are all on horseback while the Native Americans in the photograph are all on foot. Five Native Americans can be seen on the left side of the frame. One of them is pointing towards the left side of the frame. A very large mountain range that looks nothing like the Sandia Mountains can be seen in the background.
