DescriptionThis image depicts four people standing in front of a large adobe building standing near what is now Central Avenue and Wyoming Boulevard in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The two people on the right are both Caucasian men while the two people on the left are both Native Americans. The Native man on the left is wearing a large headdress and the Native woman on the right is wearing a dress. The building behind these four is several stories tall and has numerous wooden beams (vigas) sticking out of the tops of the exterior facing walls.
