DescriptionThis image depicts the interior of the La Posada Coffee Shop at the Hilton Hotel at Second Street and Copper Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The lunch counter, bar stools, wooden tables, wooden chairs, and wall murals can all be seen. Each of the tables have tiles covering their tops. On each table sits a large sugar shaker, a salt shaker, and a pepper shaker. Each table also has four wooden chairs at it. The lunch counter is lined with bar stools. Several napkin holders, sugar bowls, and salt peppers sit near each stool on the counter. The wall murals all depict various desert scenes. These scenes include adobe buildings, a man on horseback herding a herd of cattle, several Native Americans standing on a hill, and a large empty field filled with various desert plants.
