DescriptionThis image depicts the Montezuma Ball Parade in front of the Alvarado Hotel which was located at 110 First Street in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Numerous Native Americans on horseback can be seen riding towards the camera and off the left side of the frame. Many of these individuals are wearing face paint. Behind the men on horseback, the Alvarado Hotel is visible. Numerous people can be seen watching the parade from the shaded porch area of the hotel. Four wooden telephone poles can be seen near the hotel in the photograph's midground.
