DescriptionThis image depicts a young Indian Elephant in its enclosure at the Zoo in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The elephant is facing the left side of the frame. It is in mid-step with its back left foot in front of the right one. Its trunk is slightly curled upwards towards its mouth. On its back, a thin layer of dirt is visible. The visible portion of its enclosure consists of a flat dirt area with a large stone wall making up the back wall. On this wall are two concave areas with wave-like patterns in them.On View
