DescriptionThis image depicts a single American Bison in its enclosure at the Zoo in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Bison's enclosure is made of a metal mesh fence held up by large wooden beams. The top portions of the beams have been painted a light color while the lower portions are a darker color. The interior of the enclosure consists of a large grassy area with a single large tree trunk near the back fence. Dotted around the outside of the fence are several large bushes. The Bison is standing in the center of the enclosure facing the right side of the frame. It is entirely dark colored. It has horns on its head which is fairly low to the ground. It is looking straight ahead at something out of frame. In the background, a large field full of grass is visible. Beyond the field are several houses and structures.
