DescriptionThis image depicts three Oryx grazing in their enclosure at the Zoo in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Due to its proximity to the camera, only the silhouette of the Oryx in the foreground is visible. While all three have their heads lowered towards the ground, the two in the midground are actively eating from a pile of hay on the ground. Of those two, the one on the right has small blunted metal caps on the tops of each horn. The portion of the enclosure that is visible consists of a large dirt area surrounded by a brick wall with a chain link fence on top of it. Behind the fence, in the background, are several deer like animals can be seen.
