DescriptionThis object is a bone gouge, used to remove portions of bone during a surgical operation. The object is largely cylindrical in shape, with a widened circular base at one end and a large, chisel-shaped scoop on the opposite end. Text stamped on the object towards the base reads: "12 H.PFAU GERMANY." Moderate to heavy levels of corrosion are visible across the object.
