DescriptionThis object is a pair of long surgical forceps used to grasp blood vessels and other delicate tissues during a surgical procedure. This pair of forceps have a subtle curve along the lengths of the shanks and jaws, and have a box hinge located towards the center of the object. Two ring handles are located at the base of both shanks, but the object lacks a locking ratchet to hold the jaws shut. The jaws themselves are narrow and unserrated, with small, rounded tips. Moderate levels of corrosion are visible across the object.
