DescriptionObject is a metal sewing machine with a wooden table, metal foot pedal, and wooden box. The body of the sewing machine is coated in black enamel, with "WHEELER & WILSON / BRIDGEPORT, CONN. U.S.A." painted in gold on the top of the object on both sides surrounded by a decorative rectangular design. The stem of the machine has "W / 9" painted in decorative gold lettering, also surrounded by a decorative rectangular border with floral motifs. A wheel sits behind the machine, which is connected by a cord-like belt to the metal foot pedal underneath. The pedal is rectangular with numerous parallel horizontal perforations. The machine sits on an affixed wooden table, which has two rectangular storage compartments located on the sides. One section of the table can be raised and lowered to adjust the table's length. The included decorative wooden box is fashioned to resemble a trunk, and sits on top of the sewing machine while not in use.
