DescriptionThis image depicts an unidentified female employee working in the kitchen area of the Hilton Hotel at Second Street and Copper Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is standing on the right side of the frame and is wearing a light-colored dress with a light-colored apron tied around her waist. On the left side of the frame is a large metal food preparation machine. The woman is currently putting an egg into a small pot of boiling water. Two other small pots are visible. All three pots are attached to vertical arms sticking up from the top of the machine. A small metal plaque on the front of the machine reads "The John VAN Range Co. Cincinnati, Ohio, U.S.A. Equipment for the Preparation and Serving of Food".
