DescriptionThis image depicts an unidentified male employee working in the kitchen area of the Hilton Hotel at Second Street and Copper Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The man is wearing a light-colored chef's shirt with a light-colored apron tied around his waist. He also has on a chef's hat. A large metal steamer can be seen taking up the entire left side of the frame. The steamer consists of three sections. The engraved lettering on the door of each section reads "VAN. Improved Automatic Steamer Model F. Patent Pending. WFD. By The Johnvan Range Co. Cincinnati, Ohio, U.S.A". The man is currently putting a large metal tray of food into the middle section of the steamer. He is holding the tray in both hands.On View
