DescriptionThis aerial map of Amsterdam is in shades of green, pink, blue, yellow, and tan. The map is bordered by an illustrated frame. Across the top, inside the frame and with a pink background, it says, "ACCURATERGRUNDRIS und PROSPECT der WELTBERUHMTEN HOLLANDISCHEN HAUPT und HANDELS-STADT AMSTERDAM edirt/von IOHANN BAPTIST HOMANN Kayferlichen Geographi feeligen ERBE in Nurnberg Cum Privilegio S.C.M." Below the map, across the bottom of the page, there is a black and white illustration of the harbor of Amsterdam with many boats in the water. In the background, the buildings are labeled. In the lower left corner, there is an illustration of four men who appear to be involved in trade. In the lower right corner, there is an illustration of five men, including two men in the foreground who are wearing loin cloths. In a pink banner above the illustration of the harbor, it says, "Profpect der Vortrefflichen Kauff und Handels Stadt/AMSTERDAM." In columns starting in the left and right corners, there are map keys.
