DescriptionThis aerial map of Rome is the reverse of a book page carrying a long description of the map. This side has a detailed bird's eye view of the city with numerous domestic buildings, churches, and city walls. The map is bordered by a black line with the title text on the top and an extensive index below. Outside of the city walls, people travel on horseback, agricultural fields run across valleys and hills, and the River Tiber runs in and out of the city. Letters across the map correlate to the index at the bottom and the text is in French.On View
