DescriptionThis is a 41-page manual for how to use a pressure cooker written in Spanish with the exception of the publication information. It contains information about how to use a pressure cooker for canning meat; which cuts of meats to use; and recipes. The book pages are a peach color that has been heavily stained, with text and photos in black. The front cover also has a black and white pictures of a shelf with different canned goods set within a more decorative cover piece that has the appearance of a window. The top of the piece is curved, with the title in the middle, then the photo underneath, and then a two column of leaves on either side of the publishing information. The front cover of the manual also identifies it as “Extension Circular 133”, its publication date, and other publication information. It also identifies A.B. Fite as the Director of the State College of New Mexico. At the bottom of the front cover, the book reads “Cooperative Agricultural Extension work with the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Acts of Congress of May 8 and June 30, 1914". Stamped across the top, are the words “County Agent Taos, New Mexico.” This is the revised edition of the Boletin de conservar.On View
