DescriptionThis is a cover for a pressure cooking kettle, it is made of the same metal as the kettle and has the same silver color. The cover is slightly domed with flange to sit inside top of the kettle, there are also hooks that protrude out of the lid to attach to the eyebolts on the kettle. On the top of the lid there is a brass rod petcock; a brass safety valve; and a nickel plated encased steam gauge. There are also two bakelite vertical knobs on either side of the lid. Engraved at the top of the lid is the name "National Pressure Cooker", with "Eau Claire. Wis." underneath. At the edge of the lid the number "18" is also engraved, as well as a small arrow pointing towards the edge.
