DescriptionRoscoe Turner in the cockpit of his Wedell-Williams Special during the 1932 Bendix Trophy Race. People are gathered around the plane and two men are on top of it refueling it at the Albuquerque Airport in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The aircraft has the word "Gilmore" painted on the left wing. Handwriting on the front of the photograph reads, "Roscoe Turner Bendix 1935 Gold Job".
Handwriting on the back of the photograph reads, "Gilmore on left wing. Flew Gilmore W.W. in 1932 Bendix. Wendell-Williams plane."
