DescriptionThis box is made of patterned paper and cardboard, resembling leather. Two brass stencils in the box with decorative openwork and punched names, "Mrs. [blank] Montoya and [blank] Montoya. Ink stains suggest the object's use as printing templates for presentation cards. The cardboard box is worn on the edges and one end of the paper covering is loose on the lid. The box contains two brass stencils featuring decorative openwork and punched names, The ink stains inside the box suggest the usage of printing templates for creating personalized presentation cards or similar items.
