DescriptionThis doubletree tool, typically attached to a singletree tool that is then attached to the harness of an animal, serves to balance the pulling force when carrying a heavy load. The doubletree includes two cylindrical wood pieces connected by metal chains at one end. A thin, flat metal piece follows the outer perimeter of the wooden cylindrical pieces and is secured by visible nails. The ends of the wooden portions encompass a metal loop, with one ending featuring a metal hook. Significant discoloration and scratching are visible on the wood's surface, and significant corrosion and rusting are visible on the surface of the metal portions due to usage over time.
